Multiple reports suggest Roma have agreed a loan with potential obligation to buy Luis Henrique for a total €30m, while Inter are also close to a similar move with Lazio and Davide Frattesi.
The Nerazzurri finally seem ready to sell some of the players who are not part of coach Cristian Chivu’s project.
Only when those have been moved on can the cash be raised to buy Curtis Jones from Liverpool for €40m and Djed Spence from Tottenham Hotspur for €30m plus add-ons.
Inter close to Roma and Lazio deals
According to Sky Sport Italia, Inter and Roma have a basic agreement in place for Luis Henrique, worth a total of €30m including performance-related bonuses.
It would be a loan with option to buy that becomes an obligation if certain conditions are met throughout the season.
They are now waiting for the Brazilian to give the all-clear and agree personal terms with Roma too.
The 24-year-old only came to Italy a year ago from Olympique Marseille at €22.8m plus add-ons, making 46 competitive appearances with one goal and three assists.
Meanwhile, Sport Mediaset and Sky Sport Italia also claim that Inter are in advanced talks to send Frattesi to Lazio.
This too would be a loan with option to buy that becomes an obligation if certain conditions are met, both for the team results and player appearances.
The Nerazzurri can also retain a cut of the future sale fee.
