The latest updates confirm that Moise Kean arrived late for training with Fiorentina on Wednesday and that he will not be taking part in the day’s session after the latest €40m bid from Como that was reported on Tuesday.
Kean not training with Fiorentina after €40m Como bid
According to reports from various sources including Fabrizio Romano, Kean turned up late to training at Viola Park on Wednesday. Gianluca Di Marzio adds that he will not be training on Wednesday as he hopes to join Champions League side Como before the close of the summer transfer window.
Kean’s decision to skip training comes after reports on Tuesday that Como, who will compete in the Champions League for the first time ever in 2026-27, have submitted an offer worth €40m including bonuses.
Fiorentina are reportedly holding out for a €45m offer. It remains to be seen what the club will decide to do in the wake of the latest bid from Como and the striker’s decision to not train with his current teammates on Wednesday.
Reports in Italy claim that Kean already has an agreement on personal terms in place with Como.
The Italy international was left out of the Fiorentina starting XI for their 2026-27 Serie A season opener against Roma on Monday evening, which ended in a 4-0 defeat for La Viola, but did appear off the bench in the second half.
