Alessandro Bastoni’s agent insists the Inter defender wants to ‘respect’ his contract with the Nerazzurri amid interest from Simone Inzaghi’s Al Hilal: ‘All these talks are still not enough for a genuine negotiation.’
Ex-Inter coach Inzaghi reportedly wants to reunite with Bastoni at Al Hilal as the Saudi Pro League side is reportedly interested in the Italian defensive star.
Agent: Bastoni in love with Inter
The defender’s agent Tullio Tinti addressed the latest speculation in an interview with Sky Sport Italia: “My players and I usually respect the contracts. He has two years remaining in his deal; he’s a big Inter fan; he’s in love with Inter, and today, he’s not considering joining another club,” he said.
“Then, if there are clubs that satisfy Inter and the player, we can talk. As of today, however, all these talks are still not enough for a genuine negotiation.”
Bastoni has had a tough 2026, on and off the pitch, so has he ever thought about leaving Italy to have a fresh start abroad?
“I don’t think so. Perhaps I would have thought so if I were him,” Tinti replied, smiling.
“The lad has a great sense of responsibility and loves the Inter shirt.”

Bastoni was previously linked with moves to Barcelona and Real Madrid, but according to several Italian sources, the Nerazzurri are uninterested in selling their star defender for less than €70m.
Bastoni, 27, has won three Serie A titles, three Coppa Italia and three Supercoppa Italiana at Inter, collecting 298 appearances across all competitions.
