Como were the only Serie A club to win in the Champions League Round 1 midweek, securing a victory in their first-ever game in the competition.
Despite this remarkable feat, Como continue to attract criticism, as some fans and pundits, especially in Italy, believe their project doesn’t entirely belong in Serie A or Italian football because it lacks Italian players.
