Inter ultras paid tribute to legend Giacinto Facchetti and ex-sporting director Piero Ausilio with two banners during their home Serie A match against Napoli.
Facchetti, a legendary defender for Inter and the Italy national team, died 20 years ago, on September 4, 2006, so the Nerazzurri ultras in Curva Nord honoured him today with a banner displayed before the hydration break in the first half.

The banner read: “Facchetti: Time cannot erase what is eternal: the immortal glory of FC Internazionale.”
A few minutes later, they also showed a banner for ex-sporting director Ausilio, who had left the club earlier this week after nearly 29 years. This time around, the message was much shorter and read: “Thank you, Ausilio.”

The first half ended in a 0-0 draw, but Napoli shocked the home side with two quick goals at the beginning of the second half, scored by Matteo Politano and Rasmus Hojlund.
