Agent Beppe Riso reveals Gianluca Mancini ‘wanted to remain at Roma at all costs’ even turning down more money, while Davide Frattesi ‘has a developing situation’ to consider with Inter.
The representative spoke to reporters including FCInter1908 as he left a meeting.
It had been reported earlier in the summer that defender Mancini had received proposals, including from within Serie A, but instead he signed a new contract.
Mancini only wanted Roma

“I wanted to sell Mancini, but even though he received important offers with more money, he wanted to remain at Roma at all costs,” revealed Riso.
“Gian Piero Gasperini and Tony D’Amico were better than me at convincing him, I would’ve gladly taken him away! Mancini didn’t want to go, he refused everything for Roma, a gesture that he does for the fans.
“I told him, you’re crazy, but he’s happy even though he could’ve earned more, so I’m pleased for him too.”

Another representative of Riso who has been reticent to move on is Frattesi, who struggled for playing time at Inter under first Simon Inzaghi and then Cristian Chivu.
Every transfer window he seems to be on the verge of a transfer and goes nowhere, so will this summer be any different?
“I still need to meet with Inter, and then we’ll know. It is a developing situation, he has some things to consider, but first I need to speak with them.”
It has been reported that Juventus could make a proposal to sign Frattesi and keep him in Serie A, while there are also Premier League links with Nottingham Forest.
“I won’t talk about these things before speaking with Inter, it wouldn’t be right. Then we will discuss the future,” added Riso.
“Frattesi scores big goals and has a big heart, I’ll talk with Inter and then we’ll see.”
