Inter explore double deal for Roma’s Kone & Liverpool man Jones

Inter Milan are exploring the possibility of signing both Manu Koné from Roma and Curtis Jones from Liverpool this summer, as Cristian Chivu looks to reshape his midfield following the expected departure of Davide Frattesi.According to Tuttosport, via CalcioMercato, Koné is Inter’s primary domestic target. The French midfielder joined Roma from Borussia Mönchengladbach for €18 million plus €2 million in bonuses in the summer of 2024 and has made 81 appearances for the Giallorossi, contributing four goals and six assists.Contracted until June 2029 at €2.8 million net per season, Roma may be willing to sell as part of efforts to comply with financial fair play regulations.Inter had already attempted to sign Koné last August without success, but are ready to return with a fresh approach on Chivu’s recommendation.
